Ted LeNeave
Ted LeNeave
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Ted LeNeave has been a renowned leader in healthcare for more than 25 years. After receiving a degree in Healthcare Management, he started as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in post-acute care in Virginia. In 2002, Ted was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to serve on the state's licensing board. After chairing the Virginia Health Care Association, Ted received a Lifetime Achievement Award at age 39 in Virginia. He has also received one of the American Health Care Association's highest national awards, the Joe Warner Advocacy Award.
Ted served for more than six years on the Board of Governors for the American Health Care Association in Washington, D.C. Ted’s vision and drive has been to not only provide quality care to the aging population, but also a quality work-life balance to those who provide that care; remaining a partner in care and family for life. It has always been Ted's dream to own his own healthcare company, and he was excited to move to Iowa with his wife and three sons to start Accura HealthCare.
Since 2016, Accura HealthCare has grown from nine skilled nursing facilities to now more than 34 skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and memory care campuses throughout Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Ted has been privileged to Chair the Iowa Health Care Association. He continues to serve in state and national committee positions that have a direct impact on the long-term and post-acute healthcare sector.
Lisa Toti
Lisa Toti
President
Lisa Toti, a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience, serves as President of Accura HealthCare. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics and a minor in Psychology, she began her career working in various industries including hospitality, banking, manufacturing, and financial services. This diverse experience fostered a broad business perspective with strong expertise in leadership development, organizational improvement, and process and program analysis and improvement. This expertise proved to be extremely valuable when she entered the long-term care industry in 2001.
Lisa possesses a deep understanding of the sector and its unique challenges; her leadership is driven by her strong desire to make a meaningful, positive impact on others and to produce solutions that deliver positive results and outcomes. Lisa has been involved with Accura from its inception and has played a key role working alongside Ted LeNeave to develop and nurture the purpose, mission, vision and values that define Accura’s culture.
Lisa currently serves on the Iowa Health Care Association Board of Directors as Vice Chair and sits on the Executive Committee and the Quality Improvement Task Force. She was also instrumental in the launch of Iowa Health Care Quality Partners, serving as Vice President on the inaugural Board of Directors. Lisa and her husband live in Altoona, IA and have two children who both attend Drake University in Des Moines.
Megan Kleinsasser
Megan Kleinsasser, LNHA, HSE
Chief Operating Officer
Megan Kleinsasser joined the Accura family in 2019 with over 15 years of healthcare experience. Megan is a graduate of Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota, where she received a degree in Health Services Administration as well as gaining her Master’s degree in Public Health & Human Service Administration. Megan realized early in her career that quality is the foundation for successful care delivery. Megan has gained experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, as well as home and community-based services. During her time as an Executive Director in Minnesota and South Dakota, Megan acquired the roles Regional Quality Specialist and Senior Executive Director.
In 2016, Megan began serving on the South Dakota Healthcare Association Board of Directors. She has also successfully written and received the Bronze and Silver Quality Awards. Megan is an AHCA/NCAL Future Leaders program graduate. Throughout her career, Megan has dedicated herself to bettering the lives of her staff and residents with a strong focus on quality and accountability.
Megan is committed to continuing her focus and utilizing her expertise within the Accura family. Megan lives in South Dakota with her husband and their three children.
Kris Glaser
Kris Glaser
Chief Financial Officer
Kris Glaser joined the Accura HealthCare family in June 2022 with 18 years of finance and accounting experience, which includes 12 years in healthcare related organizations. Kris is a 1994 graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, where he received a degree in Transportation Management as well as gaining his accounting education and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Purdue University.
Kris built a foundation of leadership through the military early in his career while also gaining more leadership skills in the private sector of transportation management before changing his career to finance and accounting. Kris is a mission-driven leader and effective communicator with the ability to build and motivate high-performance teams. He brings with him executive leadership experience with skills in accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting and analysis, billing, and internal control. Kris is committed to continuing his leadership focus and contributing to the creation of strategic plans in support of Accura’ s mission and values. Kris lives in Polk City, Iowa with his wife and their son.

Chief Nursing Officer
Carey Robins has more than 20 years of quality-focused care experience to the people of Iowa. In 1995, she completed her nursing degree and immediately developed a passion for working in the post-acute and long-term care profession while working on the floor providing direct care. Her ways of providing compassionate, quality care and leading others were noticed, and within six years she began working in leadership roles in Nursing Administration.
Carey is a driven motivator, using a coaching style and helping to develop strategies are among a few of her leadership qualities. Carey worked for American Health Care Management Services for five years before they were transitioned to Accura HealthCare, and she was subsequently promoted to Director of Clinical Services. She has quickly become recognized across Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska as a resource for quality metrics and clinical strategies.
Carey was named Vice President of Clinical Services in 2022 and was promoted to Chief Nursing Officer in December 2024. Carey lives in Osceola, IA with her husband of more than 20 years and their three children.
Brady Allen
Brady Allen, LNHA
Vice President of Operations
Brady Allen is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who holds a BA in Health Services Management and a Master of Business Administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Brady got his start in long-term care while working as an intern at Telligen QIN-QIO as an undergraduate. He went on to become the Director of Quality Improvement of a skilled nursing facility before joining Accura HealthCare in 2016. Brady previously served as the Executive Director of the Accura HealthCare of Knoxville and Accura HealthCare of Pleasantville communities until 2020. During his four years as Executive Director, Brady guided the facilities to improved quality of care; earning national quality awards from the American Health Care Association. Brady was named Regional Vice President of Operations in February 2020, serving more than a dozen Iowa long-term care communities. In 2024, Brady transitioned to Vice President of Operations. Brady’s passion for providing quality healthcare services while also focusing on leadership and development align perfectly with Accura HealthCare’s mission. Most recently, Brady graduated from the AHCA/NCAL Future Leaders program, furthering his development of providing exceptional leadership and professional growth to those he works with. Brady resides in the Des Moines metro area.Lindsey Lefkow

Lindsey Lefkow began her journey serving the aging population of Iowa in 2005. Over more than 15 years, Lindsey has served in multiple long-term care nursing management roles. Lindsey joined the Accura HealthCare family in March of 2020 and was named Senior Director of Infection Control & Quality Assurance. As an integral part of the COVID-19 pandemic response within all Accura locations, Lindsey provided vital protective measures and processes to safeguard our most vulnerable generation and the nursing staff providing the specialized care.
Lindsey has devoted her time and energy to providing essential infection prevention education to all staff members. Additionally, she has developed numerous protocols and processes to help ensure safety for all residents and staff. Lindsey firmly believes in Accura’s mission to be partners in care and family for life. Lindsey resides in the Polk City, IA area.
Lindsey was named Vice President of Clinical Services in December 2024.
Mike Brown
Mike Brown
Vice President of Marketing & Business Development
Mike Brown joined Accura HealthCare in January 2020, bringing with him more than 10 years of unique and diverse marketing, business development, and leadership experience. Mike attended Northern State University for a degree in Sports Marketing & Administration. He went on to be the Men’s Head Golf Coach at Northern State University, while also completing his Professional Golf Management curriculum and working full-time as a Sales & Marketing Account Executive for a large radio conglomerate.
While coaching and player development were passions of his, in October 2015 Mike found his true calling in the healthcare sector as the Marketing Director for Aberdeen Health & Rehab. Over the following years, Mike took on various Regional Marketing and Business Development roles while utilizing his expertise in marketing, data and analytics, leadership, and communication to better develop effective marketing strategies, improve lead traffic volume, increase census, and grow brand awareness throughout South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.
Mike was named Vice President of Marketing in October 2020. He currently serves on the AHCA/NCAL Political Action & Involvement Committee as well as the IHCA Public Relations Committee. Mike relocated to the Urbandale, Iowa area in May 2021 with his wife and two sons.
Jennifer Benjamin
Jennifer Benjamin, LNHA, LALD, SPHR
Vice President of Human Resources
Jennifer Benjamin has served the senior population in healthcare for over 20 years. She gained her passion for healthcare in high school working as a Nursing Assistant. She attended Winona State University but moved to Le Mars, Iowa where she graduated with a BA in Marketing from Westmar College. Since that time, Jennifer has worked in facilities as a Business Office Manager, Nursing Home Administrator, and an Assisted Living Director. She has served in facilities in Florida, California, and Minnesota.
Jennifer’s was honored to be recognized by AHCA for her facility in Lake Mary, Florida when they received the national Silver Quality Award in 2017. Jennifer realized that bringing the right people into the right positions on her team allowed them to provide the best quality healthcare to the residents entrusted in their care. She has since taken this blueprint and broadened it company-wide by serving as a Regional Director of Human Resources in both Florida and California.
In September 2020, Jennifer obtained her Senior Professional of Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Jennifer is thrilled to be a part of the Accura family where she serves as Vice President of Human Resources. Jennifer resides in Rochester, Minnesota with her husband and her youngest son.
Lexi Straight
Lexi Straight, LNHA
Vice President of Population Health Management
Lexi Straight has had a long career in the long-term care sector. After earning an Accounting degree from Grand View University, Lexi was a Financial Consultant for over 40 skilled nursing facilities throughout Iowa. In 2019, Lexi felt a deeper calling to be more involved in the long-term care sector and joined the AIT program at Accura HealthCare where she went on to become a Licensed Administrator, overseeing multiple Accura locations throughout 2019 and 2020.
Lexi made another move into a new role as Central Admissions Director of Accura HealthCare in 2020; responsible for developing and implementing key admissions processes, credentialing, and network development for over 22 locations. Since then, Lexi’s skill set and knowledge base in population health has shone through, and she was promoted to Senior Director of Population Health Management in 2022 and later named Vice President of Population Health Management in 2023. Lexi has fully embraced the Accura values and mission, and has been a key leader in ensuring that our Accura locations continue to thrive while overcoming challenges and obstacles that they face on a daily basis. Lexi lives in the Des Moines area with her husband and their two dogs.
Mark Peterson
Mark Peterson, LNHA
Vice President of Asset Management
Mark Peterson began his career in healthcare in 2001. After receiving his degree in Business, Mark became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Utah. In 2006, Mark moved his family to Virginia to continue to work as a LNHA, and through his leadership and focus on outcomes, he and his team received several local and national awards and recognitions.
While in Virginia, Mark worked close to several experts in the long-term care field including experts in life safety and asset management. He moved his family to Iowa in 2016 to be a Regional Director of Operations for Accura HealthCare. This opportunity allowed for regulatory and financial oversight of multiple Iowa facilities. Mark provided key assistance to help multiple facilities achieve recognition nationally from the American Health Care Association through their National Quality Award Program.
In 2022, Mark took on a new role as Vice President of Asset Management. Mark now provides vital life safety and physical plant support and resources, along with annual inspections and consulting on major and minor capital projects.
Kevin Dixon
Kevin Dixon, JD
Director of Legal Services & Compliance Officer
Kevin earned his Law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Since 2013, Kevin has been serving as in-house counsel in healthcare related organizations, including both non-profit and private companies, and was excited to join the Accura HealthCare family in 2019. He has embraced Accura’s purpose, mission, values, and vision.
Kevin is currently a member of the AHCA/NCAL Legal Committee. Kevin lives in Ankeny, Iowa with his wife and three children.
