Accura HealthCare Expansion in Le Mars, IA

On May 7, 2024 the Le Mars City Council finalized and unanimously approved the sale of Park Place Estates, formerly owned by Floyd Valley Healthcare (FVH) to Accura HealthCare (Accura).

Danna Schuster, FVH Board Chair, stated, “During our discernment process to determine the best strategic outlook for Park Place Estates it was clear Accura held the same values as FVH in always placing resident safety first and enhancing an environment that residents will continue to thrive in. In addition, Accura’s strategic outlook for long term care in Le Mars is something FVH could not accomplish alone. We believe Accura is positioned to grow and enhance these services well into the future. Lastly, we appreciate the communities understanding during this transition. We have a lot of confidence in Accura to lead Park Place Estates into the future. I would be remiss if I didn’t take an opportunity to thank the countless individuals that have served our residents over the past 25 years. Their tireless dedication is what makes Park Place Estates a great facility and reputable assisted living facility for our communities.”

The transition timeline is slated for June 1, 2024. Park Place Estates will be renamed and rebranded to Stonebridge Suites of Le Mars.
