Our Vision

The vision for Accura HealthCare is to be a place that provides the support and love of a united family. Our vision should not be limited to a work shift or work hour. It is a philosophy; a belief that Accura can provide refuge from the stresses and challenges of life. Accura HealthCare is where personal life and work life blend together to bring value and purpose to one’s existence.

Our Philosophy

Accura HealthCare is a Midwest-based healthcare company that manages and operates over 30 skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and memory care living communities. Accura embraces an upside-down organizational philosophy that places the residents, patients, tenants, and direct care employees at the very top of the organizational chart.

Accura chooses not to be referenced as a corporate office, but rather a Resource Center. The lower an employee is on the chart (thus having more leadership responsibilities), the more responsibility they have to be a resource for those above them.

As members of the Accura team, we all embrace our mission statement “… to be partners in care, family for life.” As we strive to deliver on our mission, we will do this by adhering to our values of trust, integrity, accountability, commitment, and kindness.

Our Purpose

From its inception, Founder, Ted LeNeave, saw one true purpose for his company: to care for others. In selecting a company name, Ted chose the Latin word ‘Accura,’ which means “to care for.”

This purpose is not simply defined as caring for Accura’s residents and tenants; instead, this purpose has a large continuum that includes Accura staff and families. We believe it is the responsibility of Accura to share and build on our purpose among all of our care communities to create the highest quality experience and culture. From the moment a new resident, tenant, staff or family member walk through the doors of any Accura community, our true purpose is on display at every turn. We are honored to care for others. We are honored to grow our family and share our purpose every day.

Our Mission

Our mission at Accura HealthCare is to be partners in care and family for life.

Accura HealthCare’s skilled nursing communities provide individualized care for residents and patients to return to higher levels of functioning in a home-like, community-based setting. Our intensive medical and rehabilitative services include orthopedic, pulmonary, cardiac, dementia, diabetes, respite, and hospice services for short and long-term care needs.

Our Stonebridge Suites assisted and independent living communities help our residents and tenants remain independent in private settings while providing housekeeping and dining services, social activities and programs, companionship, and a 24-hour emergency response.
